Lightweight kit has everything needed to strap pack-
ages, cartons and bundles. Includes 12mm wide x
2,500 ft. ofContrax

plastic strapping and 425 self-seal-
ing metal buckles packaged in a convenient carry car-
ton. Perfect for light to medium-duty strapping jobs at
home or work. Does not require tool, but for greater
tension, use with DLT Tensioner, No. 3A083.
FLOOR MODEL DISPENSER
Portable floor model despenser constructed on
tubular steel fame features straptroller,tooltray
and rubber tread tires for easy mobility. Can be
used with all general duty Contrax

and Tenax

plastic strapping. Coil of strapping mounts on
center axle of dispenser and feeds through
rollers for smooth play out. Dispenser can be
suspended if required. Order strapping sepa-

HAND TENSIONER
Lightweight gripper-type tensioner/cutter triples
the pull on plastic strapping in a simple one-hand
operation, providing maximum tension. Easily ten-
sions strapping around cartons, palets and bun-

per.Also with No. 3A127 or 3A133 buckles.

POLYPROPYLENE STRAPPING
Recommended for light and medium duty applications like
unitization, bundling, carton closure, reinforcement and
palletization. Contrax

polypropylene strapping has an
elastic memory that absorbs shocks and keeps straps
tight during handling and shipping. Use with hand tools such as the WTD-
2 Tensioner, No. 3A084 and D-504 Sealer, No. 3A124; and secure with 50-
DYS Seals, No. 3A133. Coil is 1/2" W x 8,000 feet long with a 500 lbs. av-
erage strength. Can be dispensed from the DD-1A Floor Model Dispenser,

POLYESTER STRAPPING
For rigid loads requiring highly retained tension for longer periods of ship-
ping or storage time. Recommended tools: WTD-2 Tensioner, No. 3A084;
D-504 Sealer, No. 3A124; and 50DYS Seals, No. 3A133. Coil is 1/2" W x
10,500 ft. long with 500 lb. average strength. Dispenser not included.

CONTRAX PLUS PLASTIC STRAPPING
Contrax Plus polypropylene strapping is used for light to medium-duty ap-
plications such as palletizing, unitizing, bundling, carton closure and rein-
forcement. It resists splitting and has a
smooth, uniform surface for reliable perfor-
mance. Contrax strapping has elastic
memory which absorbs shock and keeps
strap tight during handling and shipping.
Controlled surface properties minimize ten-
sioning effort, increase tension transmis-
sion around corners, and improve operat-
ingefficiency. Dispenser is sold separately.
APEX PLUS AND MAGNUS STEEL STRAPPING
A cold-rolled, medium carbon steel strapping. Both types are painted and
waxed for improved tension transmission around corners of a load. Spe-
cially formulated to meet different demands. Order dispenser separately.
Mill or ribbon wound* coils.
Apex Plus is manufactured with superior edge conditioning and coating.
Magnus strapping is heat-treated with a Signode process that combines
fine surface and controlled physical properties with high strength and ex-
cellent shock resistance.
(*) Mill wound (MW) strapping is oscillated uniformly and tightly across the 21/2"
widthofthecoil. Approximate coil weight is 105 lbs.
Ribbon wound (RW) strapping is wound with each layer directly over the one below
so that the width of the coil is the same as the strap width. Approximate coil weight
is120lbs.
